i've been recording the tin man on scifi. i love zooey deschanel!
umm it rained nonstop from saturday to late afternoon tuesday so we had some major flooding. i had to leave school early, and all the buses had to use this backroads route because like every major road to school was closed haha. we were all yelling every time we saw an exceptionally big pond/puddle or creek running alongside the road--there were a lot. even our bus driver joined in. everything's okay in woodinville now though. we got one delay--it made me really nostalgic for last year, when we had a week's worth of snow days!
i was supposed to audition on the 3rd and 4th but the rain made sure that didn't happen. so now they're postponed until next tuesday. they're for the non-musical version of hello dolly, and H had a hell of a time trying to get people to audition. she's still not satisfied, because a majority of the guys who are auditioning are sophomores--she wants more seniors to try out. :\ (not that they will--quite a few don't want to work with her.)
i've been listening to into the woods. i forgot how cute act i was. act ii can smd though.
i did an in-class mock ap test essay in english. I FUCKIN' KICKED IT'S ASS! seriously, it is a fantastic paper, ESPECIALLY since i:
a) never read the book
b) pumped it out in a two-hour block period

at the grocery store today, i saw a wonderful new product of a hip marketing agent's mind: cereal straws. they come in like froot loop and cocoa puff flavors or something, but yeah...they're straws to get kids to drink milk. but made out of cereal.
sick.
wouldn't the straw get all soggy? idk. i think they're gross hahaha.
EDIT: SIT DOWN! i stand corrected. but the rant will continue.
how did this mysterious marketing guy even come up with this?! "kids don't like milk. they DO like cereal. and they like straws...CEREAL STRAWS!" kids like ashley tisdale, but you don't see any tisdale teaspoons gracing the shelves of your local safeway.
if you take a bite before you finish your milk, you get left with this soggy straw you cant use and don't want to eat because it's become a limp, bloated, froot loop noodle slumped in the bottom of the glass. once again: sick.
does a froot loop straw even impart the same froot loop flavor to milk going through it at high velocities as normal froot loops would to milk they sit in for 10 minutes?
ah well. lookin' for some fruity, crunchy tubes of milk-sippin' fun? THEN YOUR NAME IS WRITTEN ALL OVER THESE!
besides, i'm more a cap'n crunch/lucky charms kid. i've got a thing for dashing men in dumb outfits.

3 snow days in a row, full of cliches. Go out at 9:30, sled til noon, go hang out at my neighbor's house, go out again til 5, play Halo at my neighbors house (get pwned). It's a bummer it's over. But winter vacation starts on the 14th of December; I can't wait.

It snowed again last night, and all day today. It still isn't piling up much though. The hail/snow at 2:30 today was really fun to wait for my bus in.
Play practice cancelled again. My life is so uneventful!
Gotta go watch the Seahawks slip-n-slide on a snow-covered field. Juliet.
PS: I do not understand football at all. But watching them slide around in the snow is too much to miss.
